Join our team as a Move & Cleanout Support Specialist

Man loading van

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on team member to help support our moves, cleanouts, and other labor-intensive projects.

This job may be a good fit for you if you:

  • Like physical work and staying active
  • Have experience in moving, trades, property maintenance, or similar hands-on work
  • Enjoy solving practical problems
  • Take pride in helping people during meaningful life transitions

Most of our jobs fall into two categories:

  • Downsizing moves. Families and older adults call us to help them sort through their belongings, prepare for their move, coordinate and supervise the move, unpack, and get them comfortably settled in their new home. We then clean out the home they are leaving.
  • Estate cleanouts. Families who have lost a loved one and need help clearing out their home call us because they want as many items as possible donated or sold, rather than thrown in the trash.

These projects can be physically demanding and sometimes messy, but they are also meaningful. Our work helps families move forward during difficult transitions.

We support our clients with patience and empathy, and we move and disperse their belongings with care and respect.

Schedule

This is a year-round, part-time, as-needed position. It is ideal for someone looking to supplement another part-time job.

Hours are not guaranteed and will vary depending on project needs. While there will be weeks with little or no work, in our busiest times (usually spring and summer) you may work up to 20 hours per week. We can be flexible around your schedule within the following parameters:

  • You must be generally available Monday through Friday, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. (We do not work evenings or weekends.)
  • You must be available for a minimum of five hours per shift (including travel time)

Location

We serve clients in Eastern Massachusetts and some in Southern New Hampshire.
